Abstract

This paper will describe the creation of an application for opening Yu-Gi-Oh! booster packs and building a card collection. The application was developed using the Unity engine and is designed to be used on both PC and Android devices. Additionally, the research section will explore the relationship between gambling addiction and some of its alternatives, mainly loot box mechanics in video games and collectible card game booster packs.
